1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Content Guardian ("App," "Service," or "We"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Content Guardian is a Shopify app extension that provides content protection features including:

• Right-click context menu disabling
• Text selection prevention
• Image drag-and-drop blocking
• Keyboard shortcut blocking
• Developer tools access restrictions

These features are designed to help protect your store's intellectual property and content from unauthorized copying or theft.

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid Shopify store
• Comply with Shopify's terms of service
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purposes

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Content Guardian for your Shopify store. This license is revoked immediately upon termination of your account or these terms.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover the source code
• Not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Not use the App to harm, harass, or violate anyone's rights
• Not use the App in any manner that could damage or disable the service
• Maintain the confidentiality of your Shopify account credentials

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Content Guardian and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by us or our content suppliers and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. Your use of the App does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or lost profits
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no warranty that:

• The App will meet your requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The App will provide complete protection against all forms of content theft
• Defects will be corrected

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use Content Guardian to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone
• Spam, phish, or commit fraud
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Circumvent Shopify's terms of service

10. Content Protection Limitations

Please understand that:

• Content Guardian provides client-side protection only
• No protection is 100% foolproof or unbreakable
• Determined users may find ways to circumvent protections
• We are not liable for content accessed despite protections
• Server-side security remains your responsibility

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Content Guardian immediately if you:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in illegal activity
• Fail to pay any applicable fees
• Abuse the App or its resources

Upon termination, all protections provided by the App will cease.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Content Guardian from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the App, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Third-Party Services

Content Guardian operates through Shopify's infrastructure. Your use of the App is also governed by Shopify's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Shopify's services or any issues resulting from Shopify's infrastructure.

14. Payment Terms

If Content Guardian has a subscription fee:

• Charges will be billed according to the plan you select
• Billing will occur on a recurring basis unless you cancel
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
